PRATIBHA 2016

The 10th test for the students of 9th & 10th standard of 47 Govt. schools & 5 Pvt. Schools under Chaukhutia & Syalde Block, District Almora, Uttarakhand was conducted on 25.12.2016 at 2 examination centres namely Saraswati Vidya Mandir Chaukhutia and GIC Syalde. Total 282 students participated in the written test.

Based on the performance of students in the written exam, top 10 students from Govt. schools and top 5 students from Pvt. Schools were selected and presented with certificates and cash prizes in a prize distribution function organized at Jaurasi, my hometown on 28.12.2016.

Chief guest of the function was Shri Kuber Singh Kathayat, former Vice Chairperson Uttarakhand Tea Board . The certificates & cash prizes to all the toppers were distributed by the Chief Guest. In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated the students for their hard work and dedication which made them shine and be the pride of their families, their school, and their village. Commenting on the organizers Shri Umesh CS Bisht and Sheela Bisht, he said "You have proven that one person, with vision and heart, can ignite change in an entire community".
