PRATIBHA 2011

This test for the students of 9th & 10th standard of 47 schools under Chaukhutia & Syalde Block, District Almora, Uttarakhand was conducted on 25.12.2011 at 2 examination centres namely Saraswati Vidya Mandir Chaukhutia and GIC Syalde. Total 167 students participated in the written test.

Based on the performance of students in the written exam, top 10 students were selected and presented with certificates and cash prizes in a prize distribution function organized on 28.12.2011 at GIC Jaurasi, my hometown, a place at the centre of these two blocks Chaukhutia & Syalde.

The chief guest for prize distribution function was Shri Surendra Singh Jeena, Chairman Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (an Uttarakhand Govt. Underatking) & MLA Bhikyasen Assembly. The certificates & cash prizes to all the toppers were distributed by the Chief Guest. He appreciated this initiative by organizers which will make the students of this area competitive.
