PRATIBHA 2015

The 8th test for the students of 9th & 10th standard of 47 Govt. schools & 5 Pvt. Schools under Chaukhutia & Syalde Block, District Almora, Uttarakhand was conducted on 25.12.2015 at 2 examination centres namely Saraswati Vidya Mandir Chaukhutia and GIC Syalde. Total 211 students participated in the written test.

Based on the performance of students in the written exam, top 10 students from Govt. schools, top 5 students from Pvt. Schools and two top students from JNV Tarikhet were selected and presented with certificates and cash prizes in a prize distribution function organized at Jaurasi, my hometown on 27.12.2015.

Chief guest of the function was Sh. Mohan Chandra Joshi, Block Development Officer, Chaukhutia. The certificates & cash prizes to all the toppers were distributed by the Chief Guest. He thanked the organizers for this entire initiative – from organizing the competition, arranging the resources, to distributing these prizes and that too  not under any government scheme or NGO, but through their own personal commitment to social responsibility. He also congratulated the topper students and advised them to keep going where a better world is waiting for them. List of toppers, media coverage and photographs of the written test & prize distribution function are as follows
